Leadership - Progress

Progress

Change means movement

Leaders have a vision that they wish to achieve.
This invariably means change and that means progress forward.

The change is best accomplished in smaller steps, each one adding confidence to achieve the overall vision.

Momentum

Small advances build confidence and morale, this in turn produces momentum.
Once you produce momentum performance will be much higher and your own influence will be at a peak. Make the most of this position while it lasts.

Momentum will help conquer many obstacles that may have seemed hard previously.

Maintaining progress

If your vision requires many years to achieve there will be many hurdles to overcome.
Maintaining momentum, once acquired is very important.
In particular laws can change which can have a dramatic affect on a vision.

Maintain morale by keeping the vision to the fore.
Regular progress reports showing positive achievements are vital.
