PRINCE2® is not designed to cover every aspect of project management.
As already explained, PRINCE2 does not directly address interpersonal skills, such as leadership and motivation.
Though highly important, these aspects cannot be codified in a process or method.
Some methods, tools and techniques are specific to project type, context or the host corporate environment.
PRINCE2 excludes these aspects because they are not generic - but the structure of PRINCE2 and its product focus simplifies and facilitates the integration of specialist models, methods and techniques.
Lastly, there are some generic aspects of project management which have been excluded because they are already covered by a range of well-established methods and techniques.
Examples in this category are organizational change management, techniques for estimation and scheduling (such as Delphi or critical path analysis), budgetary control techniques (such as earned value analysis), purchasing and contract management.
Again, these aspects can very easily be integrated within an overall PRINCE2 framework.
